Livian Jones - Event Organiser

Livian has had a long and extensive career, having attained her degree in Bachelor of Social Science (Habilitation).She has worked for over 20 years in disability services and has worked for over 10 years in management for Day Services for young adults with disabilities.

Livian is a published writer and advocate for autism, and is one of 60 women worldwide, invited to contribute to the book " The Autism Experience" - written by Valerie Foley. She has presented at The Asia Pacific Autism Conference in Sydney, 2009 and is once again presenting at the same conference, this year in Perth.

Livian has worked tirelessly for change in societal attitudes towards inclusion and respect for people with disabilities, drawing inspiration for her goals and achievements from her children and in particular her 7 year old son Caleb; who is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Larissa Ianni - Event Organiser

Larissa has qualifications in management, leadership and disability work, and has previously served as a member of the Disability Action Plan Implementation and Advisory Committee for the Sydney South Western Area Health Service (SSWAHS).

This year she was invited to address Bachelor of Education students at Sydney University to share her families’ experience with special needs in the classroom. Larissa’s 7 year old son Anthony is diagnosed with global developmental delay.

With a keen interest in disability rights, Larissa’s focus is on influencing positive change to inspire a modern, inclusive and respectful Australia that accepts difference as a usual part of life.
